Review of Silent Running (1972) by Dan G — 19 Apr 2008
A thought-provoking movie. I remember watching this as a kid, and wanting to be this guy so much (not that I would want to do some of the things he did). I would have loved to have been by myself on this ship, being able to work with the plants while traveling through the solar system.
Yeah, I tend to have hermit tendencies, but it's the attitudes of the people he initially had to associate with that moves me in this direction.
