Review of Silent Running (1972) by Praveen P — 12 Nov 2009
This had some great laugh-out-loud moments, and smell of the 70s was strong, which is sometimes good and sometimes bad. The special effects were hilarious and are we really to believe that it took so long to work out plants need sunlight?! Despite these points it did explore lots of themes well.
..an emotional sci-fi film I guess.
