Ah, I love Mel Brooks and I love Silent Movie! I have only seen a hand full of films from the Silent Era but from what I have of limited knowledge this was a brilliant homage to a genre long lost to time, and technology! Also contains three of the best cameos to date from Burt Reynolds, James Caan and Paul Newman!
