Silent Movie may just be Mel Brooks' least accessible movie. For one thing it's silent (shock! horror!) so don't expect any quotable lines. And as a silent film the humour is mostly slapstick which will appeal to some but not others.
Having said that, the film boasts a great cast with some pretty neat cameos from the likes of Burt Reynolds and James Caan. An entertaining little experiment.
