Review of Silent Movie (1976) by Orlok W — 07 Aug 2012

Mel Brooks always impresses me with his really funny movies and the movie Silent Movie is yet another great Mel Brooks movie. Even though the whole movie is silent and there's a lot of slap stick in it the movie still managed to make me laugh, but I'm not really that shocked because this being a Mel Brooks movie I knew I was in for some great Comedy.

This movie doesn't just have great Comedy it in, but it actually has a pretty clever story to it as well, like it's a silent movie about three guys trying to make a silent movie I think that's incredibly funny and just brilliant.

I also loved that Mel Brooks plays the lead character because that just made the movie even funnier and even more entertaining. The celebrity cameos in this movie were also really funny, this movie has James Caan, Burt Reynolds, Paul Newman and Anne Bancroft cameo in this movie and they all were great to watch.

I think this entire movie was great to watch, it had your typical Mel Brooks humor in it which I always like and it has old school slap stick in it which I didn't mind. So this movie was very good, it's not the best Mel Brooks movie but it's not suppose to be, it's just suppose to be a fun Comedy, which it was.
