Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Jamie L — 25 Jun 2011
There are some really interesting ideas and sets in this movie, but they are ruined by the movie's excessive lenght, the character's erratic behavior (starting twelve minutes into the movie), it's videogame-like special effects (which is not surprising because it is actually based on a videogame series), the whole religious twist and subplot and it's unoriginal 2000ish look common to so many horror movies in the 2000-2010 decade.
