I was pleased to see that the adaptation was fairly close to the actual game. The dialog was ... entertaining but the story line wasn't completely stupid so that's a plus in my book. Directors that are attempting to make a video game into a movie need to realize that majority of the story is written for them.

They just need to adapt and film. If you think about it gamers compose only 10 to 20% of the population. Just adapt the story and tell it. People will pay. We did to play it.
