Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Mark M — 23 Aug 2016
Based upon the popular video game franchise, Silent Hill delivers uneven results. A hackneyed plot which is very difficult to follow is somewhat balanced by extremely impressive graphics. However, the dialogue and 2 plus hours running time drag this film down to mediocre status.
Perhaps a fan of the game may get more out of this than I did. On a final note, Sean Bean's role is lost in all the tangled muck of a storyline.
