The most thought provoking film in years. Is it also a secret message from Scoresese to his fans letting them know that he has had to live a life in secret from the Hollywood left you incite bashing of faith.
Is this the only true film he has made that is from his heart and that he wanted to make. All his other filmes were to quench the thirst of Hollywood. Maybe of his age he plans on this being one of his last films and a film made by a man who knows his life is short and wanted to send out the message.
Silence is an instant classic and well done. Worth every bit of time and money watching this masterpiece of historic truth about men with faith, love, and charity.
