Signs is different from other alien invasion stories. It doesn't show aliens attacking humans and humans fighting back. If tells the story from a family point of view, how it is effecting them.
The direction was nice. The director manipulated the viewers into seeing and believing what he wanted you to believe.
All actors including Gibson, Phoenix and children played their parts properly.
Overall, you should give it a watch. One thing to keep note, everyone may not like this movie. This movie needs understanding.
