Review of Sicko (2007) by Amar K — 10 Sep 2011
Despite having a lot of issues with Moore's film-making choices, the outrage shown in here feels unfeigned and powerful. The problem Moore renders here is universal and not just restricted to USA itself.
Most of the countries in the world have fashioned a system in which big corporations get rich off our illnesses, or even just from the regular preventive steps that most of us take to avoid getting sick. It is even grievous to know that health care system, which is run for profit, and insurance companies pay bonuses to employees who are successful in denying coverage or claims.
