Its a dark path Money travels. This is a character piece that shows the path a simple man will take to survive the prison systems industial complex. Think "Breaking Bad" with Nor Cal inmates.
Nikolaj is superb in the role. Fierce with his rage & subdued & nuanced is his reflective moments. Bernthal in his limited though supporting role, is quickly becoming a man to watch, in any movie or series he's in.
Always a pleasure to see. Excellent film from Ric Roman Waugh.
