Review of Shortbus (2006) by Philippe L — 26 Feb 2009
The Manhattan sky view animation that hops from house to house alone makes this a great movie to watch. The characters were so easy to relate to and the scenes fit together seamlessly. Yes, this is not a movie for people who are uncomfortable with sex and sexuality.
That being said, the sex is not gratuitous. It really enhanced the story and made for a truly enjoyable watch. If you are looking for an emotionally honest film with some serious heart you found it.
