I was expecting something a little different I think. I felt that I was being hit over the head with "TREAT WOMEN RIGHT DAMMIT". Also I didn't like Steve Martin's narration, they should have gotten someone else.
It felt weird him talking about his ch...(read more)aracter in the third person. There were a lot of events that just seemed strange, like Jeremy suddenly going on the road with a band, and then getting into Yoga.
It was just odd. But those were the best parts, most of the movie was just plain boring. The synopsis says it's funny and poignant, I think it was boring and overhyped.
