Review of Shooter (2009) by Guido S — 28 Dec 2013

Marky Mark is a top sniper who retires from combat and is brought in to consult on a potential assassination attempt on the President. However, they are using him to cover up an assassination of the Egyptian representative and pin it all on him since they have him planning it out.

A conspiracy is there and he has to prove his innocence. Could have been good, it is just a little too by-the-numbers for me and doesn't really get that interesting or thrilling. It also gets a little preachy towards the end which I didn't care for.

Otherwise, an entertaining if flawed movie.
