Shoot 'Em Up is really one of those movies that is just plain old dumb fun. There's not much really on offer here but some fast paced action, oh but what fun it is. The thing about Shoot 'Em Up is that it doesn't take itself seriously so everyone's having fun.
Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti do well in their respected roles. If you want an action movie that's filled with plot twists and turns, look elsewhere but if you're after some fun mindless action, then this movie is for you.
