I'm going to be honest and admit I only watched this a couple of times, but the memories of it still burn brightly. The action is incredible and to describe it as bloody is a definate understatement.
The direction is good, and the child as the narrator an interesting idea that works with this story . Overall, definately in the top ten Japanese movies I've seen.
