Review of Shocker (1989) by Shawn R — 29 Nov 2017
Shocker features horrifying realistic murders that would remind audiences of recent serial killings that have happened in their own neighborhoods with people like Ted Bundy and the Nighstalker, if it wouldn't pull a 180 in the middle of it and become Nightmare on Elmstreet on crack.
With great social commentary on the current state of everyday American life where people go out to the streets to murder and the rest of the people sit at home and watch Television and some crazy special effects, gore and actual scary moments, Shocker is what made Wes Craven a legend in my eyes.
