Review of Shinjuku Incident (2009) by Manuel M — 21 Feb 2010
It's an intriguing rags-to-riches story about illegal immigration, racism, mob politics and, of course, love.
This is not the jackie Chan movie I grew up with. I guess the days of Chan doing comedic fight sequences are behind him. His performance as a dramatic actor in this film definitely lacks the usual energy that makes him so memorable.
