Review of Shinjuku Incident (2009) by Jamie B — 20 Jun 2010

I rented this film expecting a martial arts type of Jackie Chan movie. I was pleasantly surprised however, to find out that it was more like a "Scarface" type gangster movie. It was refreshing to see Jackie Chan in a different role.

I thought the movie was well developed as were the characters. If you can get over the cheap English dubbing then you should enjoy it. Overall, it's a great, violent character study, with a lesson on morality.

I thoroughly enjoyed the film.
