SHIN GODZILLA is certainly a unique GODZILLA movie and a unique rebooting of the original Toho franchise. The special effects, which give GODZILLA more complex and varied fiery powers than ever, are truly eye-opening and even beautiful.
Even more than the original GOJIRA, this film evokes the big lizard's anti-nuclear message and adds several layers of sharp political and social satire, as well. The beautiful Satomi Ishihara is going to be an international star.
