Review of Shin Godzilla (2016) by Troy K — 30 Oct 2017
Not recommended for non-Godzilla fans. It was much better than expected, but not really due to the destruction of Godzilla, but for the surprisingly not boring behind the scenes political machinations on dealing with a monster attacking the city.
It is also subtitled in English and there is a lot of talking so you have to pay attention and be a pretty fast reader, so it keeps your attention and is luckily pretty fast paced throughout. Sadly, the action is a letdown and the final attack is preposterous.
..still glad I went though.
