I'm a Maggie Gyllenhaal fan already, so I expected this kind of movie from her. I thought this movie was great. Reminded me a lot of her role in Secretary for some reason. A well told story with superb acting, while not uplifting in any manner, it left me wanting to know what was to happen next in her life.
