Review of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) by Bill B — 15 Aug 2014

Finally checked out the sequel on Blu-ray at home, and it's not quite as much fun as the first film, but it does continue the tradition of fun banter and action, stylishly shot and well acted, so what's not to like, eh?

For me it was the one dumbass bit of Holmes not trusting horses or some such nonsense, which just felt like them looking for an excuse to insert comedy somewhere, but oh well, it's not the worst twist you could have I suppose.

Still, well worth a look.
