I dunno, I've got to admit that Mae West comes off as creepy not sexy in this 1890s period drama/comedy. The way she purrs and swoons does not appeal to me at all, especially some of her final lines in the movie.
There wasn't much about this film that I was enthused by, but it was a treat to see a young Cary Grant in one his first roles.
