Review of She-Devil (1989) by Derek W — 07 Jan 2019
Feel: I felt like I was watching one of the coolest movies to come out in the 80ï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s.
The story was smart yet simple.
Meryl Streep: If you havent watched Death Becomes her then I highly suggest that you do. The characters that she plays in both movies are fairly similar and they show that like every character that she plays, Meryl Streep is incredibly good at playing the an overly dramatic girly girl which she states that prefers to be and likes to show the man who wears the pants in the relationship.
Roseanne: Ruth and then Vestor Rose aka Miss Rose we see that she blames the woman more than her husband then we see that as soon as her husband is out of the picture she begins to smile more an we see her laughing when she's working at the home for the elderly who wereï¿ 1/2 1/2ï¿ 1/2Â? abandoned by their families thus needing to be sedatedï¿ 1/2 1/2ï¿ 1/2Â?
Husband: One of my favorite scenes is when The husband is in his convertible calling from his car phone and sees a blonde in the next car while he is telling Mary that she has a responsibility to take care of her kids now.
Linda Hunt is in the movie which was a surprise because I have seen is her so many movies since I was young. If you dont know who I am talking she I think Edna from the Incredibles was based on her. Or maybe they. I looed her up and she is only 4 foot 9 or 1.45 meters.
The director had some really cool scenes throughout the movie.
Soundtrack Howard Shore very reminiscent of a score you might have seen in movies from decades earlier and in some parts for cartoonish but in a more fantastical way.
