Review of Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017) by Jonathan D — 05 Aug 2017

Being a long time fan of the Sharknado series, I was delighted when I found out that I had the night off and was able to catch it as it aired. The previous Sharknado movies were a bit stale, but this one was a non stop ride of fresh and outrageous plot elements, twists, and cameos.

I couldn't get a grin off my face, even through the commercials. A fresh take by sending the Sharknados all across the globe, a focus on the main characters and chasing down their missing son, and a cliffhanger that got me excited for next year's installment.

Even if you burnt out on them, this one completely revived the series by doing what it does best - over the top and unbelievable.
