Review of Shame (1968) by Steen T — 08 Nov 2007
A couple living on a small island suddenly find themselves in the midst of a civil war. They have no idea what ideologies are presented by either side in the battle and care only for their own survival.
Harrowing study in the effect of war on the civilian population. Need I say "another masterpiece by Ingmar Bergman"? Didn't think so.
