I liked this movie, a lot. Apart from some awful acting and sound effects, this movie is very good. The story is fantastic and the visual of a naked, blood covered boy walking Jason Vorhees style through the woods in the middle of the day is chilling.
The contrast of the red blood against the green woods is very sharp. Yes there are some plot holes and again the acting is sub-par, but on a budget of 70-some thousand, you cant really expect an all around winner.
The gore effects, creepiness, and story all kept this movie together. I can't imagine how much better this movie could have been with some polish and a few extra dollars pumped into it.
