Review of Shallow Ground (2005) by Private U — 08 Jul 2008
This started off as quite an interesting chiller. It sort of changed and then became really confused. Not confusing as I was switched on and concentrating, it was confused. It stopped adding up if you thought about it in the slightest detail. The idea was interesting. It was let down by poor logic and believability. It was like all of the people were murderers about a year ago. The ending didn't really make sense although the very final bit was pretty cool and interesting. Make no effort to see this as it is lacking although the odd chilling moments and early potential can be enjoyed. Clever budget use.
In one word: Chilling.
