Co-written by Tom Stoppard. What more do you need to know? Between him and Shakespeare, memorable lines abound, the music is great and it's full of memorable performances. Fiennes is fab as the "Warwickshire shithouse", and Gwyneth Paltrow's male drag is about as convincing a disguise as Clark Kent's, it shouldn't work, but it does.

I don't know why. It's a mystery.
