Former model Richard Roundtree play Shaft a P.I. in the 1970's Harlem.
Sent to find the kidnapped daughter of a Harlem Kingpin, Shaft beats and kills with a cool not seen since Steve McQueen.
This is one of my favourite movies of all time.
From the opening street crossing scene to the shoot 'em up finale Shaft will stand the test of time as not only the greatest Soul Cinmea movie but as a movie on the whole.
