Richard Roundtree,"men want to be him, women want to be with him" perhaps. not a baaaaad mutha but a bad choice in a disapointing so-called quintessential "blaxploitation" movie. A weak unoriginal plot with luke-warm performances.
A period piece lacking ideas which never really got going. One star for the soundtrack.
