Review of Shadow of a Doubt (1943) by April V — 29 Sep 2013
Oddly enough, I don't really like this movie. I love late 30's-early 40's era Hitchcock, but this movie just did not do it for me. There was some good dialogue, but the characters weren't as interesting to me, and that kind of ruins its potential.
So, it was well executed, but it's not the sort of movie that I like to watch. Children, and families, and a plucky teenage protagonist sort of all bore me.
