Review of Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero (2018) by Gary W — 13 Apr 2018
This true story of friendship, devotion and bravery will resonate with all ages. The animation was good but not great and the voices all paled when in a scene with the great Gerald Depardieu as Gaston. Helena Bonham Carter as Robert Conroy's sister back home is perfect although we wonder what she looks like and I would have like more family flashbacks.
Good but Disney has set the bar very high and this is well below the average for today even with a compelling story.
