Review of sex, lies, and videotape (1989) by Karsten J — 01 Dec 2007
In movies, there is usually one or a few people who stands out to me in a movie;not this one. EVERY single performance is perfect. The way they talk and act is so real and mesmerizing. The way Soderbergh captures all this is also stunning.
It's not as flashy as other directors but it has a subtleness about it that makes it even more effective. He also wrote this in eight days and it's perfect! I also liked the music. It was never overpowering but you heard it in all the right moments.
