Andy Serkis cheated at Baftas scandal, another one of those rare music biopics where the lead actor hits all the right notes as the character and as the performer. Makes a rather full on start and rather disorientating for 20 minutes or so but once past this it is a fine portrayal of Ian Dury.
Glad to see lots of acknowledgements for his family in the credits, I hope they think this did him justice. Andy Serkis could not have given more.
