Review of Sex and Death 101 (2007) by Kate C — 24 Apr 2009
Simon Baker does shine in this unfocused film. Winona Ryder and her storyline seem out of place in this film. It should have just focued on Baker's storyline. It was good seeing Fact's of Life's Mindy Cohn in the film.
She was hilarious in all her scenes. Also Patton Oswalt is hilarious in the film. His scenes with with Alpha and Beta in the white room, kind of reminded me of the film, A Life Less Ordinary, of the Holly Hunter and Delroy Lindo scenes.
The film does have it's funny moments. The film could have been 20 or 30 minutes shorter.
