Review of Seven Years in Tibet (1997) by Mark W — 08 Oct 2008
Although I've heard the other movie about the Dalai Lama's life (Kundun maybe?) is better, I really enjoyed this somewhat dreamy meditation on the period from World War II to the present. The best part is the convincing settings.
The worst part is the length, which will be intimidating for many people.
