At first, I thought I was in for a Hollywood slog of a film where it was going to just go "through the motions". To my pleasant surprise, I ended up caring for the characters and enjoying the details that can be found in this version of Tibet.
Some scenes need to be cut out, but give it some time and the film may be worth your investment.
