This is a very long movie, but there is something entrancing about it, it never once get's boring or feels like a scene is stretched out too long for no reason. Some people say I just like it because I am into japanese culture and samurai, but I think if you are willing to give it a chance you aswell will be pulled in by this masterpiece.
