You want action and adventure? You want testosterone and fighting? Machismo and violence? If so, this is the classic film for you. It also taught Hollywood what an action movie and Western should be. This is the blueprint.
The film is one of Akiro Kurosawa's masterpieces and demonstrates how great directors as he, Kubrick et al can do so well regardless of the genre of film.
The Magnificent Seven was a direct copy of this film, modifying it into a Western.
