Review of Seven Samurai (1954) by Nathaniel M — 02 Apr 2016
I am no critic, but I can say that when asked what my favorite movie of all time is, Seven Samurai is the answer, probably, over 95% of the time. It contains just about everything you could put into a movie story wise which is usually a death sentence for a movie.
That being said, Akira Kurosawa was able to pull off the most intense, content filled, emotion ridden, movies of all time without making the movie feel bloated. You may want to include a pair of ear plugs for fight scenes, especially if you or the viewing location, has a high end sound system.
The samurai and the ex samurai make you feel their screams ð???
