Review of Seven Psychopaths (2012) by Johan V — 27 Apr 2013

I love the cast here, especially Walken... but the story has sooooo much going on. It's hard to tell whether this story is brilliant, leading one to believe they may have missed important plot points or details, or just so sloppily edited that the whole film feels like one unrelated scene after another.

Don't get me wrong, the movie certainly packs the black humor and wit that the trailers promised... it just delivers them in a torn paper bag. The characters? Great fun. The Story? Confusing, if not completely nonsensical.
