Review of Seven Psychopaths (2012) by Jon-Tyler S — 16 Jul 2013
This is one of those movies that you don't know if you like it or not when it ends. Once it ended, I didn't know what to think because the last few minutes of the movie, things get a little crazy but it definitely grew on me after a while because it's so well written and has some hilarious scenes between Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell. The three actors have such great chemistry on screen and blend in so well into their characters. Woody Harrelson kinda steals the show for me because he is so distraught about his dog being kidnapped all while still managing to be a badass.
I think people were expecting this movie to be like the directors last film "In Bruges" and it kinda is but it's also really different. Like, it's the same in its explosive randomness in violence and comedy but isn't as dark.
This movie is quite divided. You'll either really like it or really hate it.
