It's probably not fair of me to say that I didn't like this movie, but ultimately, I didn't really like this movie. It's bristling with good ideas and funny dialogue, but it doesn't really hang together into an entertainibg whole.
"Fitfully entertaining" is an apt description. Although the dialogue was clever, there was something awkward and forced about it at times ... it felt very much like one of the many Tarantion imitators that flooded the market in the post-"Pulp Fiction" 90s.
