Review of Seven Psychopaths (2012) by Marcellus E — 23 Nov 2013
Seven Psychopaths was easily the best film that I seen in 2012. The film had and interesting plot and I liked most of the characters although the film really only focuses on 4 of them. The characters were good mainly because the actors that played them gave some great and hilarious performances, especially Sam Rockwell.
The script was also another thing that I found good about the movie. Although the film gets darker as it progresses writer and director Martin McDonagh manages to keep the film going and there weren't any moments where I can say I was bored.
Although it isn't as good compared to McDonagh's "In Bruges", "Seven Psychopaths" is still a great, hilarious, and well acted film. I also thought that it should've got some award recognition.
Definitely an award snub in my opinion.
