Seven Psychopaths is Martin McDonugh's new film. Now I can compare this to In Bruges because of Martin's style of directing. Now there's one word to describe this film, underrated. This film did not get the attention it deserved.

Now I'm sad to say that I did not see this film until February 2014 which is about two years forward from it's October 2012 wide release. But did I like it? Yes. A LOT. Now this movie I've heard was too extreme for a lot of people.

But if it wasn't for the film's terrific screenplay, and the great cast, I wouldn't have enjoyed this as much. Now Colin Farrell and Christopher Walken did really well as Marty and Hans, there performances were really well, and Woody Harrelson's character Charlie, was so extreme and violent, I was surprised.

But my favorite performance from this movie was Sam Rockwell as Billy. His character is very likable but his character does some terrible things, but you can't help but crack up sometimes. This film has some very "underlining" dark comedy.

If I think of a film with a lot of dark comedy, this and In Bruges comes to mind. There will be a very extreme, violent scene and then it will be underlined by this very dark comedy that kind of just blows you away.

Great screenplay, great acting. 4/5 stars.
