The BBC 2008 version of Sense and Sensiblity is much SUPERIOR, nevertheless Ang Lee's direction captures the essence of Austen's novel in this 2 hour feature lenght film. Nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress.
