I was eager to see it after I heard it was based on Stephen King's book. I think if I didn't know that I would have enjoyd the film more. Now I just waited for the horror stuff to begin and got disappointed since it never really began.
Depp was his usual self (i.e. brilliant) and the plot had a few surprises but I think something was still missing. Worth watching though...
